ASHLEY N. HOGUE | ACADEMY DIRECTOR

Ashley Nichole Greene-Hogue was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, and raised in Indianapolis. Ashley is a dedicated leader with a strong foundation in faith, service, and education. A graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor's in Business Management and a Master’s in Leadership Development from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, she has spent over two decades serving Second Baptist Church (Purpose of Life Ministries).
Currently the Academy Director and Finance/Human Resource Manager, Ashley is deeply involved in ministry, community service, and nonprofit work. She is a Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer and an active board member in several organizations. Above all, Ashley is a servant at heart who loves helping and serving others. She is happily married to Tobok Hogue, and they cherish their two children, Triston and Trinity.
Amani Gates| ACADEMY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
A proud native of Indianapolis, Amani Gates joined the Purpose of Life Academy team a year ago—but her journey with POLA began long before that, as she was once a daycare student here herself. Amani graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Education. She brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a love for learning to her role. In her free time, Amani enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new restaurants around the city.

First Lady Glenda Greene has been working with the Academy since April 2002. She is a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She has celebrated over 40 years of marriage with her lovely husband, Pastor David W. Greene, Sr. and is a proud mother of two children, Ashley Nichole and David Jr. She has a love and passion for children and families.
Lena Webster| ACADEMY OFFICE ASSISTANT
Lena Webster has been employed with the Academy for five years. She was hired on as the Infant teacher and is presently the administrative assistant for the academy. Lena is the mother of one, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of five. Children are her business and business is good!!!
MR. STEVE | SECURITY & BUS DRIVER
Mr. Steve is a proud retiree who brings enthusiasm and dedication to his role at Purpose of Life Academy. He is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our scholars and staff. Whether he's monitoring the premises or driving the bus, Mr. Steve promotes safety at all times and enjoys being a dependable part of each school day.
MR. TONY | BUS DRIVER
Mr. Tony has been a valued member of Purpose of Life Academy for over five years. He takes pride in safely transporting our scholars to and from school each day. Known for his reliability and positive presence, Mr. Tony not only ensures their safety but also encourages responsibility and respect in every interaction.
MRS. ROSENDA | TURTLE INFANT CAREGIVER
Rosenda is a proud mother of six wonderful children and recently celebrated her marriage. She has been a valued part of Purpose of Life Academy for over three years. With a deep passion for caring for infants, Rosenda finds great joy in her work. Her nurturing spirit and dedication shine through daily, and she plans to continue doing what she loves for as long as she can.
Mrs. WAFAA | TURTLE INFANT CAREGIVER
Ms. Wafaa is originally from Syria, Wafaa and her husband are proud parents to five children. She’s thrilled to be part of our amazing team and brings great energy and enthusiasm to her work. Wafaa is dedicated to improving her English skills while generously sharing her knowledge of Arabic with us. In her free time, she enjoys cooking delicious meals and staying active with outdoor sports.

Maria Solis is from Michoacán, Mexico, and has been part of the POLA family for almost a year. She is a proud mother of two daughters and loves spending her free time with them, especially enjoying outdoor activities together. Maria’s warmth and dedication shine through in everything she does.
MS. BEATRICE | OWLS TODDLER TEACHER
Beatrice is from the Republic of the Congo and is a proud mother of six children she adores. She has a beautiful love for music, enjoys singing, and appreciates all different styles and genres.
MRS. FLORIELA | LIONS TODDLER TEACHER - COOPERATIVE LEARNING TEACHER
Mrs. Floriela has been apart of POLA for seven years. She has a passion for gardening and loves spending time teaching my children Spanish. I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive team and enjoy helping children grow and learn every day.
MRS. LETICIA | LIONS TODDLER TEACHER
Ms. Leticia is originally from Mexico. She has been with POLA for a month and a half, and is really enjoying it! Spanish is her first language, and is working hard every day to improve her English. She is eager to learn and grow, especially so she can better connect with the children. In her free time, she loves listening to music and dancing—two of her favorite ways to relax and have fun!

Angela Vancleave is a mother and loves working with children. She’s been on the POLA team for four years. Angela received her CDA credentials in January 2017.

Faida Musambo is from the Congo and a proud mother of three. She enjoys singing and loves spending time in the garden, where she finds peace and joy. Her warmth and dedication make her a valued part of the POLA family.

Originally from Guatemala, Ms. Rossemery has been a dedicated member of Purpose of Life Academy for over ten years. She is the proud mother of two handsome boys and brings both warmth and experience to the classroom. Rossemery holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is passionate about teaching. She enjoys creating meaningful experiences with her students and is committed to shaping and molding bright, beautiful young minds each day.

Damaris Alvarado is from Honduras and speaks Spanish and English. She has been part of the Purpose of Life team for two years and is passionate about both teaching and learning. In her free time, Damaris enjoys watching soccer and tending to the plants in her garden

Ms. Flor is fluent in both Spanish and English, and has been part of the Purpose of Life team for five years. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, as well as cooking delicious meals. She is proud to be part of this amazing community and truly enjoys the work we do with children every day.

Alma is originally from Mexico and is fluent in both Spanish and English. She has been a dedicated member of Purpose of Life Academy for over three years. Alma is passionate about both teaching and lifelong learning, bringing enthusiasm and care to every classroom experience. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and reading, which reflect her nurturing and thoughtful nature.

Maria has been a dedicated team member at Purpose of Life Academy for over five years. Originally from Mexico, she brings a love for learning and creativity into the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and writing. Maria is passionate about teaching and believes that while she is helping shape young minds, the children are also teaching her valuable lessons along the way.

Gentille Uwajeneza is originally from the Congo and is a proud mother of three. She loves attending church with her family and cherishes quality time together. Gentille cares deeply for her students, treating each one as if they were her own, and believes that God has brought us all together for a purpose.
MS. ZOE | GATORS KINDERGARTEN TEACHER - COOPERATIVE LEARNING TEACHER
Zoe graduated from Indiana State University with a strong passion for education and student success. I’m proud to be a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an organization dedicated to public service and sisterhood. This is my second year teaching, and I’m thrilled to continue growing and learning alongside my students. I believe in creating a classroom environment that is fun, supportive, and engaging—where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to do their best.
